On Wednesday, May 26th at 2 pm – yes, in exactly two days – Lauren Oliver, the New York Times bestselling author of Before I Fall, the Delirium Trilogy, and Panic will be answering questions during her exclusive Canadian Twitter chat. Those who plan to take part in this digital event should start coming up with their questions now, so on the one hand, they don’t embarrass themselves like I did when I met David Sedaris in person. On the other hand, those who have their questions at the ready (and are Canadian) may win a finished copy of her latest novel for their own personal library, and if my Panic review is any indication, that’s not too shabby.
Of course, what makes me most excited about this upcoming digital event (other than getting to ask Oliver my own questions) is that I will be hosting it via my Twitter account, @YABookShelf, along with the Canadian contingent of the Harper Collins team, @HCCFrenzy. So whether you’ll be at school, work, or home for the hour from 2 to 3 pm this Wednesday, don’t forget to keep Twitter running in the background on your computer, a mobile device, or tablet, or better yet, follow me on Twitter to make sure you don’t miss a single second.
