I’d like to send out a big thank you to the organizers of the Got Books? Event and to everyone who took the time to come out to YABookShelf.com and take their chances. I’m, slowly, going through my list of new followers and adding them to the list of people I follow, so please keep that in mind.
My Sisters Red giveaway was a huge success with upwards of 130 entries. (Of course, with all the extra entries that people worked toward getting, there were nearly 600 attempts to win one of the seven copies of Sisters Red available: five in the US and Canada and two in the UK). I’m also happy to report that I heard that the event was not only fun from others, but also that it did very well all across the book blog community. I can’t wait to participate in this event again next year. (Already thinking about and planning what I can offer as a giveaway – if you have any ideas about what new releases your looking forward to for Summer 2011 or that you’d like to win, let me know! I’ll keep your suggestions in mind.)
As usual, I selected my winners through the random number generator at Random.org to keep it unbiased. Winners will have 48 hours to respond with their mailing address before I’m forced to choose another name. And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for – here are the US and Canada contest winners:
And the winners of the UK competition are as follows:
Again, thanks again to everyone who entered. I have more contests coming up (and even a Canada competition for Linger going on right now and am trying to plan my next theme week as well. Your suggestions are always welcome!
